Who is Rick Durand?

Rick Durand is a Florida licensed real estate broker and mortgage broker. At the encouragement of his father, a commercial real estate services provider in the Tampa Bay area, he obtained his real estate sales associate’s license while completing his bachelors degree from the University of South Florida. After obtaining a business finance degree, Mr. Durand acquired his Florida mortgage broker’s license to better serve the public with their mortgage needs. As a result, Mr. Durand has capitalized on the knowledge gained of Florida lending laws and regulations, by better explaining the loan acquisition process and borrower rights to his clients.

Additional Real Estate Background Information, Education and Certifications

While establishing his young career as a Tampa real estate sales associate and mortgage broker, Rick was able to offer his clients a means of simplifying the stressful process associated with the purchase of a home. After several years of aiding Tampa, Brandon, Lutz, Valrico, Wesley Chapel, Riverview and Land O Lakes area residents as a real estate sales associate, he decided to take his real estate qualifications to the next level by obtaining his real estate broker’s license in early 2006.

Obtaining a real estate broker’s license enabled Rick to participate in several commercial real estate projects, which is uncharacteristic of someone with a residential real estate background. Consequently, he decided to enhance his real estate industry knowledge by participating in additional courses relative to commercial real estate. After successfully completing the CCIM CI 101 Designation Course: Financial Analysis For Commercial Investment Real Estate, Mr. Durand was able to better grasp the fundamentals associated with commercial real estate investment analysis.

The most interesting fact about Rick’s young career was his obsession with yet another field involving web marketing. He dedicated much of his time developing effective web solutions for clients nationwide, while employed in the medical equipment manufacturing industry. Furthermore, he proceeded to learn more by becoming a certified landing page optimization professional. He has spent countless hours learning the fundamentals of web design, search engine optimization techniques, email marketing, copywriting, blogging, podcasting, vodcasting and other effective web marketing techniques. He is also actively seeking a master’s degree in internet marketing to further enhance his knowledge in the field.
